INTERNATIONAL EVANGELIST AND STATESMAN CALLED HOME

Dr G D James, International Evangelist and one of Asia's most distinguished Missionary statesman, was called home to glory in Sydney on 24 July 2003.
In addition to preaching at large-scale evangelistic crusades in Asia for the last 65 years, Dr James preached at Bible conferences and churches around the world, thrilling his audiences with his wit, wisdom and humour.
A prolific writer, Dr James has authorised more than 25 book. His well-known evangelistic booklet " The Man You Must Confront" published in 15 languages has reached the 10 million mark.
Around the world there many Christians leaders who are the fruit of his evangelistic and teaching ministry.
A pioneer in missions, he, launched the Asia Evangelistic Fellowship in 1960, a national missionary organisation with 200 national missionaries working in 9 Asian countries. This indigenous mission is committed to evangelisation and discipling people in Asia and around the world.
Over the radio networks of the FEBC, TWR, HCJB and others, as well as several television stations, Dr James has spoken to many millions of people around the world.
Dr James is survived by his wife Rose and six children - Davidson, Joyce, Grace, Violet, Daniel, Jonathan and six grandchildren.
Memorial services are being planned to be held in Sydney and Perth (Australia), Singapore, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Auckland (New Zealand) and Bombay (India).
